General Labourer in Manufacturing Facility

Trowel Trades is looking for 2 General Labourers in our Surrey manufacturing facility

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Salary: $20/hr for 40 hours/week

Hours of Work: Day and Evening shifts, occasional overtime work may be required

Language of Work: Proficient in spoken and written English

Work Location: 2158 - 191 Street, Surrey, B.C. Canada V3Z 3M3

Job Description/Duties

• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
• Check materials and products
• Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
• Monitoring the machine to ensure proper functioning
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Perform any other labouring and elemental activities as might be required and as directed by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Has manual dexterity and able to do repetitive tasks
• Has good attention to detail
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to follow written instructions as well as verbal instructions from supervisors

Education and Experience

• Must be proficient in spoken and written English
• No formal education required
• 2 years of continued work experience in a manufacturing facility
